IT Executive Director As the IT Executive Director, Michael provides strategic direction, technical guidance, and operational oversight of the Office of Information Technology within the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. He also provides council to college leadership, serves as a member of the Vice President for IT's Executive Council, participates in the campus-wide IT Manager's Forum with peer campus IT leaders, and serves on several committees. Michael also manages the daily operations, financial oversight, and personnel recruitment and retention duties of Franklin OIT in alignment with the mission of the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. Michael is a well established leader in Franklin OIT with 23 years of experience in Franklin College and as a foundational member of Franklin OIT itself. He holds several technical and managerial certifications along with a wide expanse of experiences and practical technical knowledge and has been a longstanding participant in campus-wide committees and leadership groups. Michael specializes in a customer-first practice and leverages metrics and other data-based methods to best align with college, campus, and state objectives in instruction, research, and administration. Michael holds a BBA from Terry College of Business and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Kennesaw State University.
